The NIGHTMARE :(
Cubby Monkey to the rescue
Ella being goofy eating ice
Poor guy slept through his first and hopefully last ambulance ride.
The nurses gave Landon this nerf gun after torturing him with the IV :(
Thanks daddy for Bumblebee..starting to cheer up!
Watch out neurosurgeons that made me get in an IV in my hand!
Auntie Bridge and Keenan brought me this cool toy to the hospital
We were just leaving SunSplash after 7 hours of swimming and playing. Mommy the photographer, had a great idea of taking a quick pic by the pirate ship out front. Landon climbed up on a rock about 2 ft tall and lost balance and fell backwards on his back but his head flew back on the cement. After calming him down we rushed him over to the Emergency room in Gilbert to have him checked out. Even though the nurses' thought he looked great, the doctor ordered him to have a CT scan. After 30 long minutes of waiting the results finally came back showing a skull fracture. Landon was then transferred by ambulance to a Phoenix hospital and placed in peds. ICU. The neurosurgeons wanted to monitor him for another 24 hours to make sure there was no bleeding to the brain. He is one lucky and tough little boy. We are very blessed that he was able to return home the following day. Now we just have to follow the doctor's orders of NO swimming, sports, bike or scooter rides for 3 MONTHS! Trust me November can't come soon enough!
Sunsplash Party!
We have been dying to go to the AWESOME waterpark in Mesa. The kids had a great day swimming with friends and racing down the water slides. It was the calm before the storm!
Big Girl Swimming!
Ella is officially too good for a lifejacket! We couldn't be prouder but sad that she isn't a baby anymore :( Way to go Ella!
THE KUHLMAN'S ARE HERE!!!!
We can't even explain how excited we are to have Bridge, Travis, and Keenan close to us. Even though we miss home like crazy, it makes it a lot easier having our favorite people a quick car ride away :) Grandma and Grandpa you guys are next!! We miss you!
End of Season Baseball Party
Landon thought it would be a great idea to have his baseball friends over to the house to celebrate the end of a great season! They had a blast swimming, jumping, and tearing up the house! Can't wait for next season :)
Duck Feeding
Bean Bean and I discovered a lil' pond with tons of ducks over by the baseball field! The only food we had in the car was a baggie of Cheerios. I am surprised Landon and his teammates didn't hear me freaking out cuz Black birds were flying over our heads wanting to charge in for the food! Next time we plan on being prepared with lots of bread!
